It has been more than three weeks since the bloody conflict between Israel and Palestine. In these three weeks, both sides have suffered huge financial and life losses. So far, more than seven thousand civilians have been killed in this war. Three weeks ago, Israel was attacked by Hamas in Palestine. The attack by Hamas entering Israel was surprising because no one expected such an attack on Israel from an organization like Hamas because Israel’s spy agency Mossad is the most dangerous spy organization in the world. All the nations of the world were wondering how she did not get the information about this attack. Of course, Israel then responded strongly to Palestine. Hamas is a terrorist organization so initially the world’s sympathies were on Israel’s side but as the war progressed, the sympathies for Palestine increased because many did not like the way Israel dealt with the Palestinian dilemma. Especially since Israel attacked a Palestinian hospital, killing 500 patients, Palestine received this sympathy. Along with Muslim and Arab nations, China, Russia, North Korea also took an anti-Israel stance. What’s more, India, which initially publicly supported Israel, also said that Palestine is our friend. As the world was divided into two factions due to this war and nothing was being done to stop the war, UNO’s General Assembly passed a cease-fire resolution. The resolution was approved by 120 to 14. Although 120 countries supported the ceasefire, 45 countries chose to remain neutral. Major countries like India, Japan, Australia, Canada, Germany, Ukraine, Britain preferred to remain neutral. These countries chose to remain neutral as the terrorist organization Hamas was not mentioned in the ceasefire resolution. Many of these neutral countries say that Hamas is a terrorist organization that attacked Israel and that is why this war started. Had the Hamas organization been mentioned in the resolution, India would probably have voted in favor of the war ban as India has always been against war. This role of the government is being discussed in our country. Opposition parties and media have criticized the government but the central government is firm on its decision. Like India, these 45 countries are also strong, so the world is divided into two groups. These 45 countries include many countries in Europe and the Americas. It is clear that the world is divided into two groups by the fact that there are some countries in Asia and all Muslim and Arab countries along with belligerent countries like China, Russia, North Korea are on the side of Hamas.
